Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms are a contract between you and JOBXY PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore ("Jobxy", "we", "us"). They apply to the Jobxy platform at jobxy.sg and to any related service we provide (the "platform").

Key points. This box is a summary. The full terms below are what bind you.

  • Jobxy is an online platform where businesses list work and workers apply. We are not a party to any work arrangement, and we do not pay workers.
  • Employers and workers deal with each other directly, and each is responsible for what they agree and do.
  • Our liability to you is limited, in most cases to S$100 or the fees you paid us in the last 12 months. See section 15.
  • If a claim is made against us because of something you did, you may have to compensate us. See section 16.
  • Paid plans for companies renew automatically until cancelled. See section 7.
  • We can suspend or close accounts. See section 12.
  • Singapore law applies. See section 17.

1. Agreeing to these terms

  • You accept these terms when you create an account and tick the box agreeing to them, or when you accept an updated version.
  • If you use the platform for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • The platform is offered only for work to be carried out in Singapore. We do not offer it to people or businesses elsewhere. If you access it from outside Singapore you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local law.
  • In these terms, an "employer" is a business that uses the platform to find workers, including the people who use it on that business's behalf. A "worker" is a person who uses it to find work. A "listing" is a job that an employer posts. A company's "crew" is the workers it has accepted or who joined it using its code.
  • Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data. They are notices and are not part of this contract.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password and any two-step verification method confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us that it has been compromised, unless the activity resulted from our failure.
  • Worker accounts and employer accounts are separate. A worker account may not be used to represent a company, and an employer account may not be used to apply for work.
  • One person may hold only one worker account.
  • We review a company before it can use the platform, and we may refuse or withdraw approval.
  • The person who registers a company is its owner on the platform. The owner is responsible for the company's account, for the people it gives staff or admin access to, and for what they do with that access.

3. What Jobxy is, and what it is not

Jobxy is a self-service online platform. Employers post their own listings and choose whom to engage. Workers choose what to apply for.

  • We do not choose workers for employers or find work for workers, and we do not act for either side. Any rating shown about a user is worked out automatically from what other users entered.
  • We do not charge workers any fee.
  • We are not your employer, and we are not a party to any contract for work. That contract is between the worker and the employer, who decide the pay, hours, duties and conditions.
  • Apart from reviewing a company before it can use the platform, and the Verified mark described below, we do not check listings, workers' details or anyone's identity, qualifications, right to work or conduct.
  • A "Verified" mark on a company means only that we have taken steps to confirm that a business is behind the account. It is not a recommendation or a guarantee about that business, its listings or how it treats workers.
  • We do not promise that a listing is accurate, that work will be offered, that a worker will attend, that work will be done to any standard, or that anyone will be paid.
  • Each user is responsible for meeting their own legal obligations, including those about employment, work passes, workplace safety, insurance, CPF and tax.

4. Payment for work

  • We do not handle wages. Employers pay workers directly.
  • The platform shows payment details that workers provide, and records of scheduled hours, attendance and worked hours that employers enter. These are tools for the two sides. We do not check them and they are not our statements.
  • A dispute about pay, hours or attendance is between the worker and the employer. We are not required to take part in it or to resolve it.

5. If you are a worker

  • Apply only for work that you intend to do and are legally allowed to do in Singapore.
  • Attend the shifts you are accepted for. If you cannot, withdraw as early as you can. This is a commitment to the employer.
  • Give your own true identity and payment details.
  • You understand that an employer you apply to or work for will see information about you as the Privacy Policy describes, and may record your attendance and hours and review your work.

6. If you are an employer

  • Post only real roles that you intend to fill, with accurate pay, dates, hours, location and requirements.
  • Pay workers what you offered, in full and on time.
  • Comply with Singapore employment, work pass and workplace safety law, and follow the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices. Checking a worker's right to work is your responsibility.
  • Do not ask a worker to pay anything to get work.
  • Records you enter about a worker (attendance, hours and reviews) are your statements. Make sure they are accurate, and correct them if they are wrong.
  • Keep your company's join code secure, and give staff and admin access only to people who should have it.

Workers' personal data. When you receive a worker's personal data through the platform, you are responsible for it under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 as a separate organisation. You must:

  • use it only to assess, engage, schedule and pay that worker, and to keep the records the law requires of you;
  • not disclose it to anyone else, and not use it for marketing;
  • keep it secure, and stop keeping it when you no longer need it for those purposes;
  • keep any file you download from the platform, such as a pay sheet, secure, and delete it when you no longer need it to pay the worker or to keep records the law requires;
  • delete it when the worker or we ask, unless the law requires you to keep it; and
  • tell us without delay if it is lost or accessed without authorisation.

7. Paid plans

Paid plans are not available yet. This section applies from the time we offer them.

  • Using the platform on the free plan costs nothing. A company may choose a paid plan with higher limits on staff and admin seats.
  • The price, what the plan includes and the billing period are shown before you pay. By completing checkout you agree to them. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay for that period, including any GST that applies.
  • A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and we charge your payment method for the next period, until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time in your company settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the plan until then.
  • An upgrade takes effect immediately and you are charged at that time. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • If a payment is still unpaid after 7 days, your company cannot add more people until it is paid. If it remains unpaid after our payment provider's further attempts, the paid plan ends and your company returns to the free plan limits. This does not remove anyone already in your company.
  • Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund, where we have charged you by mistake, or as section 13 says.
  • We may change prices or what a plan includes. A change applies to you only from your next renewal, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice so that you can cancel first. This bullet, and not section 18, governs changes to paid plans.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, and your use of its checkout is subject to its own terms. We do not receive your full card details.

8. Content you put on the platform

"Content" means anything you post, upload or send, including listings, profile details, messages, reviews and files.

  • You keep ownership of your content.
  • You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and transmit your content as needed to run the platform. For a public listing or a public review, this includes showing it to the public and to search engines. The licence lasts for as long as we hold the content.
  • You confirm that you have the right to post your content, and that it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights.
  • We are not required to monitor content. We may review, restrict or remove any content, and may act on reports, where we reasonably think it breaks these terms or the law, or could harm someone.
  • We may remove content, restrict an account or give information to a court, regulator or the police where the law requires or allows it. We are not liable to you for doing so.
  • To report content, use the report function where one is shown, or email abuse@jobxy.sg.

9. Reviews

  • A review must be your honest opinion of real work arranged through the platform. Do not post a review that is false, abusive or discriminatory, that reveals someone's personal data, or that you were paid or pressured to write.
  • Reviews are written by users. They are not our views and we do not check them.
  • If you think a review about you breaks these terms, use the dispute or report function. We will decide what, if anything, to do. We may keep, remove or stop showing a review at any time.

10. Things you must not do

  • Use someone else's identity or NRIC, or create an account for someone else without authority.
  • Post false, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful listings or content.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse or unlawfully discriminate against anyone.
  • Share another person's personal data or intimate images without their consent.
  • Collect or copy other users' personal data, except through features we provide for that purpose, such as a pay sheet, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Access, or try to access, accounts, data or systems that you are not authorised to use.
  • Probe, scan, disrupt or overload the platform, or try to get around its security or limits.
  • Send spam, or advertise anything unrelated to real work.
  • Use the platform for anything unlawful in Singapore.

11. Our intellectual property

  • The platform, including its name, logo, design, text and software, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it only as these terms allow. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse engineer any part of it, or use it to build a competing service.
  • If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely and without payment.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

  • We may suspend or close an account, restrict access, or remove content if we reasonably believe that these terms or the law have been broken, that it is needed to protect users, the platform or us, or that the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you.
  • You may stop using the platform at any time. To close your account, email support@jobxy.sg.
  • When an account is closed these terms end, except the terms that by their nature continue, including sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 14 to 19.

13. The service

  • We may change, suspend or stop any part of the platform. If we stop a paid plan that you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of the period.
  • We do not promise that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

14. Disclaimers

  • To the extent the law allows, we provide the platform "as is" and "as available". We give no warranties, conditions or promises about it other than those written in these terms, and we exclude all implied ones.
  • We give no assurance about any user. You are responsible for your own decisions about whom to work for or engage, and should take the same care you would in any other work arrangement.

15. Limits on our liability

Please read this section carefully. It limits what you can recover from us.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

Subject to that:

  • We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any user. This includes unpaid or late wages, a worker not attending, the quality of work, the content of a listing, message or review, and how an employer handles a worker's information after receiving it.
  • We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • We are not liable for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims connected with the platform or these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) S$100 and (b) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
  • The limit above does not apply to loss you suffer because we failed to protect your personal data as the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 requires. For that loss, our total liability to you is limited to S$1,000.

These limits also protect our directors, officers, employees and agents.

16. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, or because of content you posted, you will compensate us for the loss we suffer as a result, including reasonable legal costs. If you are an employer, this also covers claims arising from how you engaged, treated or paid a worker or handled a worker's personal data. This does not apply to the extent that we caused the loss.

17. Law and disputes

  • These terms, and any dispute or claim connected with them or with the platform, are governed by the laws of Singapore.
  • The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before starting a court claim, the side with the complaint will tell the other in writing (to us at legal@jobxy.sg) with enough detail to understand it, and both will try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.
  • This does not stop either side from applying to a court for urgent relief, from bringing a claim in the Small Claims Tribunals where it is within their limits, from filing a claim to protect a time limit, or from going to a regulator. It does not extend or shorten any time limit set by law.
  • We may bring a claim for unpaid fees without first following the 30-day process.

18. Changes to these terms

  • We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
  • If a change is material we will tell you by email or on the platform. We may ask you to accept the changed terms when you next sign in. They apply to you from the time you accept.
  • If we do not ask you to accept, we will give you at least 14 days' notice, and the changed terms apply if you keep using the platform after that. We may make a change sooner if the law or security requires it, or if it does not reduce your rights.
  • If you do not agree, do not accept. You may close your account by emailing support@jobxy.sg.

19. General

  • Whole agreement. These terms, together with the plan details shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between you and us about the platform. You have not relied on any statement that is not written in these terms. This does not limit liability for fraud.
  • Severability. If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a term, or delay in doing so, we can still enforce it later.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a company in our group or to someone who takes over the platform.
  • Third parties. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001, except that the people named in section 15 may rely on that section.
  • Notices. We may send notices to you by email to the address on your account, or by a notice on the platform. Send notices to us at legal@jobxy.sg.
  • Relationship. Nothing in these terms makes you and us partners, agents, or employer and employee.
